Life is currently a continuous cycle of eating, watch TV, hide from parents, midday nap, Lego, more TV, reading, more eating, more TV, more eating.
-_-

Anyway, am on my healthy eating kick again.
Went to Coles yesterday and purchased ~1kg of pears for $3.99 and 4 packs of Yoplait Creamy Lite Fruit Salad Yoghurt priced at $2.69 each but on special with buy one get one free.
Went through lovely Caity's checkout and was pleasantly surprised when I found the pears to be $1.99 instead of $3.99 (me(secretly)thinks that Caity made an awesome mistake. =D)
So I paid for my stuff and went back to get more pairs, with $12.15 in change.
REALLY didn't wanna break the tenner, so I stood there for a bit trying to figure out how many pears I could get with $2.15 and came up with around 1.075kg. xD
Stood there and selected pears and weighed them and then had to go back and pick slightly smaller pears and weigh them and then pick slightly smaller pears and weigh them.
Went back to the checkout and regaled Caity with tales of my fruit themed maths-escapades.

Scintillating, right?

I watched My Sister's Keeper yesterday.
Great even though it's quite different to the book, and made me cry a few times, although I did not like the ending.
Anyway, Abigail Breslin (♥) was good as was Sofia Vassilieva.
It really gave me more reasons to dislike Dakota Fanning, who didn't do the role because she didn't want to shave her head.
My sister thinks I'm taking it too personally, but I'm really not.
I mean, yeah, okay, she probably needs her hair for the other roles she's in all the time, but it still makes me think less of her.

... is frigging awesome.

Things I love about it... include... RICHARD ARMITAGE. Hot dayum. I mean, I watched him way back when I still watched Robin Hood when he was Guy of Gisbourne. I always thought he was hawter than Robin in Da Hood but in North & South... It's for certain.

More later. Eating now.

Rawr
SO there I was, minding nobody's biznazz, and decided to get some ice for my drink. I go to the freezer and get an ice cube thinking "la di da" all innocent and what have you. I think to myself "By George, this ice cube looks mighty refresing!" I can't stand another second of not feeling its icy coolness so I put it in my mouth. Mmmm, icy. AND THEN it starts to get cold after a second, too cold for my liking without a nice beverage to dampen its severity. ALAS it is stuck. Ow ow ow. Gosh darn, I pull the damned thing out along with a nice chunk of skin from my tongue and the inside of my lip.

Now I am of bloody lip and tongue and of deflated ego.

Sadness ensues.

Other non-literary things to do this summer:
- Buy Lego and make magnificent Lego houses: I bought some today and am bidding on more on eBay, age recommendations be damned!
- Buy Guitar Hero: World Tour and finish all the songs.
- Do jigsaw puzzles: am currently working on one of the New York skyline. Stupid of me, really, to pick one that is about 70% blue.
- Fix up my room: restick all the posters that fell down, find a suitable light fixture for above my bed/the window, reorganise books/dvds.
- Make an appearance in public every week or so.

I live a fascinating life, I know.
